At Eye Dazzler Alpacas, our goal is to take the best possible care of our alpacas for sale, and that includes keeping our cria warm during the cold Colorado winters. We used these new coats all last year on our alpaca farm and found them the best solution yet. Since these new coats use no Velcro®, there is no chance that playful crias will rip off the jackets, resulting in getting tangled or the coat being lost. And after multiple crias, we found that the Velcro® picks up so much hay and dirt that the fastening becomes compromised -- we even had to safety pin the tabs to keep them fastened.

Made from a water-repellent, durable fabric with a quilted insulated liner, these coats are different from other cria coats because of the unique fastening system which uses only 2 side-release buckles. Adjustable elastic allows for ease of movement and a good fit. This allows for an easy-on and easy-off process for the alpaca breeders, but not for the cria.
Extra cold night? Extra small cria? No problem! It’s very simple to just add the extra snap-in liner made from 100% pure felted alpaca to meet your needs for any temperature or any size cria.

These coats are completely washable. I suggest washing in cold water, delicate cycle and air drying.
